Ready To Take Your Shot? A.I.M. is a transformative program designed to empower youth through the art of acting and film production. It encourages students to shoot for the stars by taking their shot at mastering the craft of storytelling, performance, and production, all while aiming for their highest potential in both creativity and leadership. This program helps young people tap into their creative minds, develop essential skills for stage and screen, and build confidence as they bring characters to life.

This program is guided by a diverse team of industry professionals and experienced facilitators who have made their mark in film, television, and entertainment. While guest mentors such as Corey Pegues, retired NYPD executive and best-selling author; Eric B., hip-hop legend and

co-founder of a prominent Brooklyn acting studio; Markuann Smith, writer, creator, and executive producer of Godfather of Harlem; and Maryam Muwwakkil, Executive Director of STAR Initiatives and actor, will provide insight and mentorship, additional facilitators will lead sessions to ensure continuous learning and engagement throughout the program.

Students will receive hands-on training in acting, improvisation, and live performance, with behind-the-scenes exposure to the world of directing, production, and cinematography. They will learn how to think on their feet, handle live-action scenes, and develop the skills needed to perform confidently on stage or in front of a camera.

  • Confidence Building: Develop leadership, public speaking, and interpersonal skills that extend beyond performance.
